01The service
MegaRide gives a chauffeur company a booking website, a dispatch console, a passenger app and a chauffeur app, presented under that company's own brand. We license it to you; we do not sell it. You get the right to use it while your account is in good standing.
02Accounts
- You must give accurate company details when you sign up, and keep them current.
- You are responsible for everyone you invite — dispatchers, chauffeurs, staff — and for what they do with the access you grant them.
- Keep credentials secret. Tell us promptly at support@megarideusa.com if you believe an account has been compromised.
- The account owner controls roles and can remove access at any time.
03Your responsibilities
Running a chauffeur operation is regulated, and none of that regulation moves to us because the software is ours. You are responsible for:
- every licence, permit and authority your operation requires;
- commercial insurance for your vehicles, chauffeurs and passengers;
- vetting, qualifying and supervising your chauffeurs, including the validity of the documents you upload;
- the condition and roadworthiness of your vehicles;
- the prices you set, the taxes you charge and the money you collect;
- your obligations as an employer, and any notice or consent your chauffeurs are owed — including about live location tracking.
04Your data stays yours
Your company's data — clients, rides, chauffeurs, vehicles, prices — belongs to you. We hold it to run the service for you and on your instructions, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, we do not hand it to another company on the platform, and we do not use it to compete with you.
While your account is open you can export it. If you close the account, ask us and we will provide an export before deletion.
05Your passengers
A passenger who books through your branded booking page is your client, not ours. The transport contract is between that passenger and your company. You set the terms of carriage, the cancellation rules and the refunds. When a passenger asks about their personal data, you answer as the controller of it; we will help you answer.
06Plans and billing
- Plans, prices and any free trial are shown at sign-up and on the MegaRide site.
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe until cancelled.
- Cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part-months unless the law where you are requires it.
- If a payment fails we will tell you and may suspend access until it clears.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before they apply to your next renewal.
- Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise; you are responsible for taxes on your own fares.
07Acceptable use
Do not use MegaRide to break the law, and do not:
- upload someone else's personal data without a lawful basis for doing so;
- attempt to reach another company's data, or probe, scan or stress the platform except with our written permission;
- resell or sublicense the platform as your own product, or copy it to build a competing one;
- send unlawful, deceptive or unsolicited bulk messages through it;
- upload malware, or anything that interferes with the service for other companies.
Security research is welcome when it is reported to us rather than exploited. Write first.
08Availability
We work to keep MegaRide up and publish live status at megaride.app/status. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we have not committed to an uptime figure in these Terms — if we ever do, it will be written here rather than implied. We may take the service down for maintenance, and will avoid peak hours where we can.
Because dispatch is a live operation, keep a fallback — a phone number your chauffeurs and clients can use — for the times any software, ours included, is unavailable.
09Third-party services
MegaRide depends on services we do not control, including Google (sign-in, database, storage and maps), Stripe (payments) and our hosting provider. Their terms apply to their part, and an outage or change on their side can affect the platform. We choose them carefully; we cannot guarantee them.
10Intellectual property
The MegaRide platform, its code, design and the MegaRide name and marks belong to Mega Ride USA. Your company name, logo and content remain yours; you grant us only the permission needed to display them in your branded booking page, apps and console, and to run the service.
11Ending the agreement
- You may close your account at any time from the console or by writing to us.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, does not pay, or puts the platform or other companies at risk. Except where the breach is serious or unlawful, we will tell you and give you a fair chance to fix it first.
- On closure your access ends. Ask for an export before you close, or promptly after.
- Sections that are meant to outlive the agreement — your data, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law — survive it.
12Disclaimers
MegaRide is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that it will meet every requirement of your operation.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost business or lost data, arising from these Terms.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for MegaRide in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for the transport itself — the ride, the vehicle, the chauffeur's conduct, or any injury, loss or delay arising from it. That is your operation, covered by your insurance.
14Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top always shows the current version. For material changes we notify account holders in advance; continuing to use MegaRide after they take effect means you accept them. If you do not, you may close your account.
15Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Mega Ride USA is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
